Looking for Recommendations: Blown-In Insulation Contractor
Hi everyone.
I’m planning to upgrade the insulation in my home and am specifically interested in blown-in insulation for the attic and walls. I’m looking for a reliable contractor who has experience with this type of installation and can provide quality work at a fair price.
I’d love to hear about your experiences, any recommendations, tips on what to look for when hiring, or potential red flags to avoid. Also, if you know about average costs or brands and materials that work best, that would be super helpful.
Thanks in advance for your advice.

Re: Looking for Recommendations: Blown-In Insulation Contrac
Hi there.
I recently had blown-in insulation installed in both my attic and walls, and I can share a few tips from my experience. First, always check that the contractor is licensed and insured, and ask for references or photos of past work. If you’re in Florida, look specifically for a reliable blown-in insulation contractor Florida who has experience with your type of insulation, cellulose or fiberglass, as each has different installation methods.
Watch out for contractors who give extremely low quotes, as poor installation can create gaps or uneven coverage. Average costs vary, but for attics it is often around $1.50 to $2 per square foot, walls can be slightly higher. Certain brands like Owens Corning or GreenFiber have good reputations.
